Jamal's record in danger
Parker, 220 at the beginning of the 4th and the Clown D couldn't stop me right now. Davenport is carrying now so the best hope for Jamal is Parker's legs fall off and Davenport stays in.

Re: Jamal's record in danger
looks safe for now, I wish they would have given him one more carry that day. It would have been cool to see the #300

Re: Jamal's record in danger
I think he was talking about if Jamal would have had 5 more yards.....back in 2003.
we aren't just loyal, we are obsessed. and we are violently so. we are baltimore, and we are the epitome of dysfunctionality.

Re: Jamal's record in danger
IIRC, he would have had it, had Marcus Robinson not committed a gratuitous hold at the 7 yard line on Jamal's last long run.
Billick yanked him after that play.

Re: Jamal's record in danger
I guess it should be the wish of all NFL running backs to play Cleveland at least once a year ~ it's great for the stats.

Re: Jamal's record in danger
Yes, & that hold also cost Jamal the touchdown he scored on the play. I thought it was Chester Taylor who held, but my memory could be worng. That took off 20 yards or so from his total.

Re: Jamal's record in danger
Nope, it was MRob who held. And Jamal would've easily surged past 300 without that call. Plus, Billick took Jamal out on that one series where they were trying to score inside the 10 toward the end. Instead they settled for a FG and give Cleveland a chance to come from behind, before Ed Reed made the pick six.
