aggh. where is our defense tonight????

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals II
So let's see when Billick finally realizes that Jamal can't run against this front and start doing the right plays?
Well, of course McNair has to complete passes for that....this is just killing me.
We'll see what happens this next drive. Lots of time still

We need a big turnover, or some other big change of momentum, FAST

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals II
1st from the 15, Chester false starts.
1st and 15 from the 10, PA, complete to Mughelli for 8.
2nd and 7, Brown false starts.
2nd and 12, draw to Jamal, gets about that 5.
3rd and 7, and Joseph drops another pick. McNair is WAY underthrowing those comebacks.
Ratliff loses yards, downed at the 30.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals II
This game has so far been absolutely shite. That's now the second almost-pick McNair has thrown. The playcalling has been horrible, with nothing more than short routes. Jamal had 2, maybe 3 good run so far. The defense is not even close to the way they were.
I knew this Pittsburgh on Sunday, Bengals away on Thursday was going to hurt us. And the NFL knew it too.

1st, pass complete to Housh, and he gets NAILED by Franklin at the end of the play.
2nd and 2, quick hit to CJ, gain of 3. Rolle can't cover him in short or long yardage.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals II
How to beat the ravens
1: run the short passing game
2: every now and again run a double move and burn the not C-mac corner
3: stack the box on Jamal and play tight zone and the offense will self-destruct
