WTF are you talking about? I see why people get so pissed at you because you dont read the thread. Im not making ANY judgement other then refuting someone else who said he was the main reason they won the game.
Thats what I get for taking you off ignore, I suppose.

Re: Big Ben
hey houston, you were talking to me not someone else. Either take me off ignore so that you can follow this thread fully or STFU because PSU had agreeded with me as far as Ben helping lead his team to a Superbowl.
You were the one shining bens superbowl stats all over the place but all the while we were both talking about the overall picture. Get a clue.
Someone with some balls quote this so that he see it.
ThanksWOW! I feel so fortunate that the Ravens did what they had to do to make this happen. Thank you. My Heart is with the Raven....My Heart is with Baltimore and its great fans. What can I say. Here We Go!!! --Ray Lewis

Re: Big Ben
I have balls, strangely enough, being of the masculine persuasion, quoted anyway.
On the point of this contract, much as most Ravens fans wouldn't want to admit it Pig Hen is an elite level quarterback, he's not up to Brady or P Money's standard but he is a top 5 quarterback, possibly the next best guy after those two and he deserved to get paid. He's shown he's recovered from his injuries after bike accident and appendectomy so I think they were right to sign him up before it got into a position where the Steelers might get gun shy with big money as is their usual thing.
These big numbers are the maximum possible with masses of thoroughly unattainable incentives but the agent will always ensure this gets reported to reflect well on him and attract more players. In reality the contract won't be this big and I suspect it'll probably be around market value between the likes of Manning/Brady and Romo's contract that he got earlier this year. When you've got a guy the calibre of Big Hen, you damned well pay to keep hold of it. This is a smart and expected move for me.

Re: Big Ben
See, you're getting pissed at me for not reading your posts, but you're the one not reading mine. Show me where I said he helped them win the game?
Once again, my point is that there is a giant difference between a QB doing nothing to help his team win a game, and a team that wins a game in spite of their QB. Ben's SB falls more into the former than the latter category.
