Ovie Mughelli Deserves Props
Ovie has stepped up since Billick took over. He has become one of the better FBs in football since we returned to our sense and are using the I formation. Our lineage of great FBs continue with Ovie Mughelli.
I hope this is not a contract year for Mughelli. It's a new season! It's a new day!

Unbelievable! Give the man his first ever touchdown and it goes right to his head!! All of a sudden he's rushing for 9 yards here, and making key blocks and catches!
He really has stepped it up over the last couple of weeks.

Re: Ovie Mughelli Deserves Props
In spite of all the penalties he got today, he's been playing pretty good

He and Jamal are getting on the same page, which I think is a big part of why Jamal's been running better the last couple weeks. Remember the rapport Jamal had with Ricard. He's finally getting that with Ovie (check out the Sun article for more details on it), and the results are showing.

This is not a contract year for Ovie, is it?

Re: Ovie Mughelli Deserves Props
I was totally wrong about Ovie. He is turning into that pounding fullback this team, and specifically Jamal, needs.
Big props to Ovie!

Ovie's in his fourth season, we drafted him in 2003.

I've already forgotten about Alan Ricard!
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Re: Ovie Mughelli Deserves Props
I am glad that Jamal has found his groove and Ovie is a large part of it. Apparantly, Jim Fassel didn't want to listen to his players and Brian has an open mind and listens to suggestions. Jamal simply does better with a fullback in front of him.

Re: Ovie Mughelli Deserves Props
If you rewatch the games from the past few weeks Ovie is playing lights out.
He is creating lanes in the running game and he had key blocks on 2 Jamal TD's last week just cleaning guys out.
It really seems like Jamal and Ovie are working great together and it is showing in the running game.

Ovie has been a big reason why Jamal is running better. Ovie also gives us another weapon out of the backfield.
