Billick on HBO's Inside the NFL?

Hey I heard somewhere that perhaps Billick is going to appear on this week's Inside the NFL on HBO. Well, the show debuted tonight and will repeat every day at different times from now through the weekend.

I missed it, did anyone watch it and was he on?

Yes he was, sporting his SB ring, mostly interviewed him about the Vikings highpowered offense.

Thanks. I guess he told them beforehand his Ravens thoughts were off-limits, at least for now.

When asked if he wanted to be a Head Coach again in the NFL, he said Yes. with the right opportunity.

I'm really going to miss Brian! Unfortunately, all coaches are hired to be fired. Brian is a class act.

I started a thread on this earlier in the week. Take it FWIW, My "source" tells me that was his audition and that HBO wants to mimic what NBC is doing with an ensemble type cast.

Sorry Houston, I had forgotten you had a thread on this earlier.

I saw the show, and BB was pretty good on it. They mostly sidestepped his time in Baltimore, although they did get in a jab on his track record of developing QBs.

All in all, he did a great job and I think he'd be a great studio guy. I wish him the best.

I'll tell ya, Billick sure does have a good sense of humor. When they made that jab it was at the list of bad qbs he had to deal with, he laughed sort of to signal agreement that he never had a good QB. I guess the good thing is that billick was able to laugh hard about it.

No worries and I agree with you. I did notice the ring and I cant help but think that's a positive nod towards his old team. The more time goes by, the more I think he and the team will be fine and we will see him next season getting inducted in the RoH! :)
