PFT is reporting that the Cam Cameron has been added to staff. No official word, but we all know he would be the OC.

From the PFT rumor mill?
You need a better source than that.

PFT, I'll take that with a pillar of salt and give them no credit for being right if it happens. :D

Not a big Cam Cameron fan.. but I will take a "Leap of Faith" that Harbaugh knows what he is doing if he decides to get him.
On the flip side.. I am a big Cameron Diaz fan...

For what it's worth...
PFT was the first to break the story a couple years ago about us acquireing Steve Mcnair before anybody else had a sniff of it.
I think this is a great move if in fact it proves to be true.
If you get a HC with no experince at that position, definitely try and surround yourself with experience at some key positions. Will Die A Ravens Fan!!

Re: Cameron is in!
NFL Network has a blurb about Cameron in a blog piece about Fassell being the interviewed in DC...
http://www.nfl.com/news/story;jsessi...o&confirm=true
Former Dolphins coach Cam Cameron is in line to be hired as Baltimore's offensive coordinator, but it's hardly a sure thing he will wind up with the Ravens. A source close to the Rams said Cameron is scheduled to interview this week with St. Louis head coach Scott Linehan. Plus, there is at least one other mystery team thought to be interested in hiring Cameron, who has a strong reputation despite his past season in Miami. Plus, Cameron has three years remaining on his Dolphins contract, meaning Miami will wind up paying the bulk of his salary in each of the next three years..
.
“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Re: Cameron is in!
Cameron should be good hire for us. After all, he managed to beat us with Cleo Lemon and Greg Camarillo. ugh.

Re: Cameron is in!
let me stir the pot with this idea...
What if we bring in Cam Cameron as "Assistant HC - Offense", then still make Pat Schurmer the OC?
My thinking is Cam Cameron obviously wants to get back on track to be a HC. I think'd he settle for OC, but another part of me thinks we're going to need to start looking down the road, when he gets his next shot as HC.
You bring in Schurmer who then learns the ropes from Cameron.
I doubt we'd pull that kind of stunt, but maybe, and until the title is announced, it's still viable.
Thoughts?
