Just asked for the un-biased opinion of my wife (knows jack about football and she does not care).

She thinks Garrett is a 'Ginger top runt' and the other guy is much better looking.

(apolgies to any gingers whom might try to take offence)

I think the ginger reference might skip over a few American heads.

I'm guessing the "ginger top" refers to the red hair??

Apparently South Park did a whole ginger kids thing. I never knew there was such red hair bias, and I'm married to a red head.

Please, please, please no-one take offence but:
It is generally thought that ginger / red headed women are 'better'* lovers!
It is generally thought that ginger men are usually a%^eholes**.

    * ie VERY good in bed
    ** chip on shoulder type

I say again its only a bit of fun

Unfortunately, ginger people (or gingas) are given considerable abuse in the UK. See here for an example: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/6725653.stm

One of my best friends at school was not only ginger, but had a stutter. Luckily he learned to be a Tai Kwon Do black belt, which helped against the naysayers.

Generally but not always. An unattractive ginger girl is often referred to as a 'ginger minger' (pronounced ginga minga).

Personally, I didn't really like Garrett because he seemed like a douchebag. But that's just me.

Oh, and I also don't condone gingerism.
