Prediction Contest Suggestions
We have yet to have a second winner in this unpredictable season. I'm looking for suggestions....should we give the prize to the closest prediction? And if so how would you define closest?
Or should we just let it ride and build?Follow me on Twitter @RSRLombardi

Re: Prediction Contest Suggestions
Let it ride, the last week you can go by closest. To determine closest, first the poster must get the winner correct. Then subtract how much they missed by on both scores and add them together. The lowest total difference wins. If there is a tie then use your tie-breaker. No rules about going over or whatever. Predicting 24-9 in a game that ends up 23-9 is better than predicting 16-7.

I agree with Greg, keep it going until the last game, then use closest. Then for the playoffs, use the closest for each game.

I would go with the closest in points and then use the tie breaker if need be. Guessing the exact score is pretty tough and just a blind guess anyway.
