Re: AGAIN, Demitrius Williams
This kid has "it", when it comes to being a receiver. Stretch the field, catch on the run, and today he sat down in zones like a veteran. This guy needs to be on the field more.

Re: AGAIN, Demitrius Williams
We are quietly becoming a passing team. And if we are to succeed in the playoffs Demetrius will be a big part of it.

Re: AGAIN, Demitrius Williams
That double move he put on Pac Man was sick, and then after that he had the speed to break away down the line.Jones tried to catch him but was struggling.
I am convinced we have one of the most underrated WR core's in the NFL.No one can cover Clayton,Mason still makes plays on a regular basis, and DWill is slowly becoming one of our best kept secrets.
Clayton can thatnk Heap for being wide open on that TD though, the coverage jumped Heap because of the threat he is and forgot about Mark and he made them pay.Last edited by 52decleetzu; 11-13-2006 at 08:35 PM.

Re: AGAIN, Demitrius Williams
This guy was a steal in the 4th round, he was a legitimate 2nd rounder. Of course if we would have taken him there, he would be inactive every week!!!!
Seriously, I have liked this kid since we picked him & am glad we have been using him. Great hands & runs great routes. No project with him, he looks like he has been playing for a few years in the NFL.

Re: AGAIN, Demitrius Williams
Funny how the two best WRs of this past draft class came on the second day.
Colston in the 7th round.
Williams in the 4th round.It's a new season! It's a new day!

Re: AGAIN, Demitrius Williams
Williams is a stud for sure. Its nice to know we have him opposite Clayton for years to come when Mason eventually retires or moves down the depth chart.

Here is an article on DW's role being expanded. Experts say that it takes two seasons for rookie WRs to learn the NFL. Looking at what Demetrius is doing in such a limited role, imagine this kid in the year 2008/09 season. It's a new season! It's a new day!
