Thread: Jamal Has to go

    Jamal Has to go

We can't run on the Tits. That is just freaking nuts. I am tired of the Tap dancing. This is a disgrace.

There's no where to run. There's 11 guys on the field for us, not just Jamal.

Titans always stop us running, but guess what - it leaves MASSIVE holes downfield. How ever many yards McNair has, some should be credited to Jamal being on the field.

I understand your frustration, but we now have a QB that can make them pay for stacking the box. Again, that's Jamal's work.

Jamal is the 8-track of running backs. DEACTIVATE HIM AND LET'S SEE ONE OF THE TWO ROOKIES.

What's that, Brian? Oh yeah, loyalty. I guess tht DOES count.

    Baloney. It's Jamal.

Bench the fucker and start Mike Anderson. I promise you he kicks Jamal's stutter-step, tap-dancing ass.

Yeah... that fumble sure showed what MA can do.

The Tits committed to the run and left the passing game open. We took what they gave us.

Anyone have the breakdown of run/pass ratio of this game?

I saw holes to be had today, and Jamal hit a whopping one of them. You have to have better production against a D that gives up 5 YPC.

edit: You can't take away everything else a different back gives you because he had a fumble on his only carry. Jamal fumbles all the freaking time.

I'll rack that, and note McNair threw 47 times to 21 rushes.

If we can't run on the Bungs and the Tits, or against the Saints, three of the worst run Ds in the NFL, we will not go deep into the playoffs.

    Just sayin'.

FACT -- in 2000-03 -- Jamal was one of the top 5-6 backs statistically in all the stats that mattered

FACT in 2006 -- He barely makes the top 40 (FORTY --GUYS!) -- see football outsider stats . It isn't even close. Any half decent back would do better than Jamal.

If we don't give Musa a try, it will yet be another potentially cheap young talent that will do great on another team. We've seen this movie before (e.g., Rabach) . If we're not using Anderson, why did we pay him?

And for all the whining from the coaches, that he's almost there -- look at that stats -- there have been hardly any big runs this year from him and that's what counts
