Ray has swelling near the spine according to C Mortensen. Says he still tried to talk Billick into playing him. Hopefully this doesn't give us an excuse to lose.
The Steelers: Still looking for a legit Super Bowl victory.

Looks like I'll really need this thread. TV coverage outlook is bleak :(

I'm OK with Ray not starting ; if it had to be any game, this is as good as any. Think Mike Smith will step up ala the preseason.

    Couple of predictions:

    1. If Jamal gets some big yardage on the Titans in the first half, look paradoxically for Billick to give him FEWER carrys in the second half and give the ball more to Musa to see what he can do. Billick's got to figure out how to get this running game more untracked -- its the number one issue that the team has -- and I got to believe that in his heart, he's not sure if Jamal's the man anymore.

    2. Ed Reed has at least 1 if not 2 interceptions

    3. This will be a blowout game and potentially a shutout for the Ravens

    4. BJ Sams opens up one up today ; not to the house but for over 30 yards

Short kick from Stover, Wade brings it to the 31-32.

Another short kick by Stover -- at some point Koch's going to have to step in

1st down Titans, Henry who goes off tackle right, gets 17. Not a very good start.

1st from the Titans 46, Henry up the middle for 3-4.
2nd and 6, Henry STUFFED for a loss of 1-2!
3rd and 8, Young completes to Bennett for 10 and a first. C-Mac playing WAY off of Bennett. WAY TOO EASY.

1st down from the Ravens 42, PA, deep to Scaife who is wide open, breaks one tackle, breaks ANOTHER tackle, and the Titans are inside the 10. Pathetic.

Well, this is starting off great. Someone explain to me why McAlister is playing 10 yards off Bennett?

1st from the 8, shotgun, quick throw to Troupe who drops it. Had Rolle on him, and likely would have walked in if he caught it.
2nd, PA, Young runs right, looked designed run, Pryce ran him down and stopped him for a gain of 3 or so.
3rd and goal from the 4, shotgun, pass is DROPPED BY LANDRY. He was heading for 6 the other way if he picks that. As is, FG team comes on.

    3-0 Titans.

I think we got very lucky on that drive. If Troupe doesn't drop that pass, it's 7-0.

And why does McAlister play so far off the receivers?
