Every game live, streamed over the internet with yahoo!

    LINK

Good news for those technophobes/law abiding folks, the NFL and yahoo have teamed up to allow almost every single NFL game to be shown over the internet. It uses windows media in a pop up window and you can watch the games live or within 24 hours of their first broadcast. The only games you can't watch live are those games being shown live on Sky.

Of course this is the NFL so it comes at a cost, $250 of cost and I don't think there's an option for split payments either. $250 works out at about £135 apparently.

Sorry for an american fellows reading this, this service is unavailable in the America, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Antigua and US Territories.

Well I just got it.And its impossible to watch the Stealers/Dolphins.
It plays for a minute, then starts back at the beginning. Then goes off altogether.

Yahoo help,is as helpful as being locked up with an 800 pound grizzly bear.

Well I managed to make that dog jump through the hoop on the 15th time of asking. And its pretty cool.It only stopped itself once,at halftime. So I suppose those ten people clogging up the server watching the Stealers/Dolphins must have signed out at 11pm.

The price of admission was worth it,for just seeing Porter kiss Cowher on the neck. That's right,Porter kissing Cowher on the neck.I'll sign off and let that picture sink down into your gut to squirm forevermore.

The picture is pretty good for 300kb/s.Even at fullscreen.

You cannot watch a game that is showing on the TV in the country you
watch that day.Other than that you can watch any game.As the Ravens do not get shown to much on British TV,then we should be ok.

The strong pound against the dollar makes it a bit more exceptable. It would be better value if the games were not wiped off after 24 hours from the conclusion of the game. Then I wouldn't need fieldpass.Or spending £160 for Raven game DVD's from Pontel.com.

The media player needs improving.A button to switch it to windows media player.A pause button. A timer on the slide bar.So if you lose an archived broadcast you can slide the bar easily back to the point you lost viewing the game.

Just like to say it was amazing experience watching the game live with NFL game pass.No buffering or loss of picture.Great times ahead for any European NFL fans who put their money into this.

Glad to hear you guys have access to Ravens games over there. I'm not in the Baltimore area but a trip to the local sports bar is all I need to do to see them.
    Cheers! Have a Tennent's for me. :-)

Re: Every game live, streamed over the internet with yahoo!

Well all of a sudden the last three weeks, the game stream has started to slowmo or freeze frame on my pc after the first half of a game. I have done all sorts of things with my PC & modem to no avail.I emailed customer services and all they said was,"due to large traffic it may cut down on bandwidth, causing interruptions of streaming."

So what did the NFL do, run this service from one server that can hold 30 people on or something. If this continues for the rest of the season. Then they can shove Gamepass where the sun don't shine for 07.And I'll go back to Fieldpass gameday radio.
