While the Bungle fans are bitching and moaning about the PI non-call, the Bungles were given extra downs on Offense

    from the article...
"No explanation was forthcoming, and the extra down had no bearing on the outcome of the game."
Damn good thing it had no bearing! The most basic thing in officiating a football game, and they screwed it up. :

I missed this one apparently, luckily it didnt cost us.That is pretty basic even for an NFL ref,you know being able to count from 1-4.

You know I wondered about that at the time but just figured I was having a "senior moment" and had missed something.

Well on the plus side, the extra down did take a couple of extra seconds off the game clock.

So they are saying they gave CJ the first down and the following Rudi rush was first down? CJ was definitely a yard or two short on that catch. I thought the following Rudi rush gave them first down and they went from there.
