It's not too early: Rivals.com mock draft - Ravens CB
May as well get into the offseason mind-set .....rivals.com
8. Baltimore (4-9)
The Pick: Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
The Buzz: The Ravens defense needs younger talent on the corner, and Cason is a top-flight cover man.
39. Baltimore
The Pick: Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii
The Buzz: The Ravens are looking for a quality young passer to compete for the starting job.In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

You beat me to it..I was just going to post this link myself.
I don't see the Ravens taking a CB w/ a top 10 pick.
I see QB / DE / OL / WR before a CB

Fanman, do you really see O-line? We've loaded up on young talent the last couple of years and we need to let it gel and get some leadership in considering Ogden's likely out the door, how does another young talent bring any leadership to this young line? The talent is there if we give it time to gel.

I saw Cason a couple of times this year. And he is an amazing athlete.
I'd be very happy with that pick.
Brennan goes from an intense passing offense to Billicks offense.Should not take too long for him to learn, but will he stay awake while reading the playbook?
Will Colt fit our system is what I am trying to say.Put the smile back on your face. This is a 60 minute ball game.

I'd be happy with Cason. I'm pretty convinced that CB needs to be a major investment this offseason. The stiffs we have back there now have made our defense very suspect.
Not sure I'd be that happy with any QB prospect as long as Billick is calling the offense. I fear it would be just a wasted pick.AZRAVEN

Colt Brennan would be a huge mistake. We would be another 5 years without a franchise QB.
A great college QB. On top of that, for those of you who have not seen him a lot, he throws totally side arm. Out of a spread, and in the shot gun. He makes Bollers wind up look sound.
If it is BB, no way. If it is a new coach who decides he wants him, then fine.
And I agree we need a CB.

Ravens' first pick should be one of the following: Matt Ryan, Brian Brohm or Andre Woodson, depending on who is still available.

There have been MANY mock drafts that have the Ravens taking a QB.

I want NO part f Brennan.
My favorite QB's in order...
Ryan
Brohm
Woodson
Flacco
Ainge
Henne
Booty
Dixon
Don't really think much of the rest of the guys.

Too early for Cason, IMO. We should look to shore up our CB situation in the second round and get a franchise passer in the first. Good CBs can be found later on the first day and even sometimes on the second.
