Spot on post. The Ravens D doesn't have that swagger that it used to. I'll throw Ed Reed into there too. Everyone played with immense confidence due to those two and it even drew Deion Sanders out of retirement because of how excited he knew it'd be to be a part of such a special defensive unit.

Ozzie can't rebuild that just by drafting defense every round. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are all time greats that rarely ever fall into your lap.

It's a huge void. You just can't find another Ray to lead this team. You have to luck into it. That's why the all time greats are considered just that. They don't come around very often

Thankfully they rallied around Ray and won another SB but after he rode into the sunset, it's been a different team for sure. Nobody to lead by example and keep the guys motivated.

The Ravens do not have their former swagger (as Cool-x posted), our QB is about as boring as can be, we don't have a single shining star on "O" or "D", and our coaching staff is pretty nondescript.
