Thread: Free Agency

    Free Agency

Isn't 'Free Agency' really nothing more that 'Match.com' for football.

Marriages dissolved in Divorce because the partners can't agree on the rules for the marriage.

What is one teams 'Hot New Blonde' is another teams bimbo that was kicked out the door.

    What a farce!

What’s worse is the legal tampering. It’s really the start of FA

Tampering really began in the final weeks of the 2017 season - well under the table but tampering never the less.

Has there ever been a year where this many deals were made before the start of FA?

FA is basically over by the time it officially starts. At least for all the big deals.

Jordy Nelson has scheduled a visit with the Ravens per Lacanfora Shows the Ravens aren't done revamping their WR core.

They going to roll out Weddle and Jefferson to recruit Nelson?

I don't believe that 41 year old Jordy Nelson has a future here, but if the club wants to put one year's worth of big-name window-dressing on our bottom-dwelling WR unit then press on.

Watch them give Jordy a 3 year deal too. Then, he'll be cut next offseason and we'll be absorbing all that dead money.

If Jordy is signed, you can kiss the idea of us drafting a WR in the early rounds goodbye

Jordy is older, I get that, but hes also been one of the more dominant WRs in this league when healthy. Id have been ecstatic to have him 2 years ago. Im still very much happy to have him now. Hes a big target, with great hands, that just knows how to get open. What are we even looking for at this point, if thats not it?

if Jordy signs I dont think that stops us from drafting a guy. If anything that just frees up what type of WR we would draft. right now we dont have any size, which they may value higher than another 6'0 or less guy.
