    Re: The Jarvis Landry Trap

Just read (post was by Mike Florio) on bleacher report i think is where I saw it.

"Ravens were the only other team" who conveyed interest in trading for Landry.

So we atleast know they made the attempt but failed as usual. How many times have we tried at trades and failed now? has to be up there as a record or something.

    Failed with the TO deal
Failed trading up for Matt Ryan
    Failed trading up for Leftwhich
    Failed trading up for Ramsey
    Failed trading for Landry
Failed in draft few years back trade between us and Bears where Bears left us hanging

Maybe other teams do it, but we always hear about our shortcomings.

T.O didn’t want to come here and why would he want to play with Kyle Boller’s sorry ass. Obviously the Flacco lovers are happy they didn’t trade up for Matt Ryan.

    Not the point.

My point was how many trades have we failed at or come up short on?

You just hear all of our attempts and don’t on teams you don’t follow as closely

The Ravens are the only team who makes mistakes when it comes to trades? Why would you even list the T.O. trade despite it being a miss, he never wanted to come here.

Looks like the Bengals found one with their trade with Buffalo.

You forgot getting out maneuvered for Joe Staley in 2007 and Dez Bryant in 2010. Joe Staley we picked Grubbs with the next pick. Dez Bryant we traded the next pick down and ended up with Sergio Kindle and Terrance Cody.
