Re: Joe Flacco then and Joe Flacco now.

Shits getting tiresome, as others have echoed. Joe has one more year from a contractual standpoint to prove he’s the man, regardless of everyone’s opinion. Seems pretty obvious, given the imbalance of this team, that we need to provide him with way more support on offense. Hopefully the team that makes those decisions does so and we let Joe sink of swim with it. If he sinks we likely finish with 7 or less wins. If that happens a whole new regime comes in and they will almost undoubtedly move on from Flacco as well. All the threads in the world defending him will not matter. Conversely, he returns to form and we go on another couple years run with a very good defense supported by a solid offense that hopefully results in the teams third Super Bowl.

Flacco is the worst QB ever. He's never accurate, he's inconsistent, he can't carry a team and he gets paid too much which is why we can't get any good players. He's also the reason the defense collapses in critical moments. (cuz it isn't Pees or the defense, ever am I right?) Give Kamar, Marlon or (insert name of sub par WR here) and they'd be superstars!

    OR

Flacco is a decent franchise QB who, like all other QBs, needs at least some talent surrounding him to be successful. There has been way too much turnover on offense and there is no stability. No other QB would be successful with the strategy this organization employs either. Nothing is ever Flacco's fault. Our receivers can't catch a cold. Flacco is elite and just as good as Rodgers and/or Brady if given any talent around him.

There ya go. Both sides summed up. Done and dusted.
If it only it was that easy. Copy and paste this in the next dumb Flacco thread he makes next week.

That pass to Moore in Pitt this year was pretty in the basket. Same with Watson in Cleveland

Flacco hasn't looked great for a while. But, let's face it, management hasn't done him any favors with the crappy receivers he has to throw to. That and an offensive scheme that doesn't play to his skill set.
