Re: In Re: Playoffs...
The Chargers would likely take the AFC West if their rookie kicker didn't lose two games for them at the final whistle in the first month of the season.
The Ravens need to stay healthy that is key. (Cue captain obvious)
Offense needs a lot more of Alex Collins, it's time to unleash beast mode. And start making the sugar huddle a regular feature of the offense. Stop using it for a series or two and going away from it.

Re: In Re: Playoffs...
It's been a few years, so I'm a bit rusty on this: is the Billick-era edict about use of the "P" word still in effect?

Re: In Re: Playoffs...
There is a reasonable probability that the AFC Wild Card 3rd tiebreaker (best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference) will come into play, possibly for both 5th & 6th seeds. Of the current eight teams with records +/- 1 from 5-5, the Ravens have the best AFC record. The way I read the NFL Wild Card tie-breaker rules, if the Titans split their remaining schedule, the Ravens could displace them as the 5th seed by going 4-2 (if one of the losses were to the Lions and another team also ends at 9-7).
Those two losses to the Vikings & Bears, while painful, sorta "helped" this odd advantage to the Ravens. In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

I think in time the run defense will be back, I just have no faith in the offense.
