The Only Time to Make a Coaching Change Is Now (Till the Offseason)

Going into the bye we have 2 weeks to bring in new coaches.

If they are serious about doing anything this year (pause for laugher at that idea). It is NOW.

They could bring in a new OC and DC and implement their playbooks.

But what will we do? Nothing and continue to lose boring ass 3 point games and win joke 3 point games until we're 8-8 and stuck in this shitfest of mediocrity.

You can't implement new stuff at this point. You can use different plays that are already there. You can coach differently. The offense though will still be based on the same stuff. That's what Marty ran into taking over from Trestman

They won’t make a change. Harbaugh staked his tenure here on “continuity”. If Marty or Pees go, Harbaugh likely joins them when the season is over.

No changes will be made they have dug in with their decision to roll the dice on continuity. This will continue after the bye week. And next season.

But why wait until the end of the season.

Burn it down now and get a headstart on next year.

"implement their own playbooks" was probably dumb to say.

But they can make changes 100%. Even MM did some things a little differently. Just like Caldwell did when he took over for Cameron.

You can mix in a little bit of new stuff, but yeah I shouldnt have said playbook

I want to make a change now, but this how it is going to play out. There needs to be major changes barring some miracle run to close out the season.

They will use the “we’re only one game from .500” argument. Ain’t shit happening Bt and Harbaugh and crew will be back next year too.

Lol I mean who can really fix this shit right now? This is bad and this is deeper than just coaching folks. We talking bad players, bad contracts for average to bad players and injuries, paired with bad coaching and a franchise QB who has checked out and frankly I can’t blame him for checking out...the Ravens are in some shit.
