So I have been hopping around the episodes based on the summaries. I've watched about 10 total. Liked some more than others, but all are entertaining.

    Netflix has none for $7.99/mo.!!!!
    I call bullshit.

Netflix has all the Jaws movies right now.

    Re: The Movies/TV thread

I watched Blade Runner 2049 this week. I've heard and read from several places how awesome of a movie it was.

I enjoyed the original Blade Runner.

I did not care for 2049 though. I thought it was well cast with Ryan Gossling, Jared Leto, and obviously Harrison Ford. But it was soooooo sllllloooooowwwwwww....and the cinematography, IMO, made it difficult to really see what was going on.

Denis Villenueve's films are all paced pretty methodically. I don't usually mind because the set and sound design are beautiful enough to get lost in. I really enjoyed 2049, but I don't think I'd put it in my top 5 of 2017 or anything. I liked Sicario and Arrival more.

He's working on a Dune adaptation right now. It may end up being 10 hours long.

Between that, Hell or High Water, and Wind River, everything Taylor Sheridan has written has been pretty great.

The Sicario sequel, which Sheridan wrote, but has a different director, is one of my most anticipated movies of the summer along with Shane Black's The Predator.
