Re: Jemele Hill at it again
Having noticed the quasi-religious tone MV keeps using, I decided to Google "universal law" + reparations and this is what I found:

And this, in particular, confirms my suspicion:
http://www.tedhayes.us/Rep_GOD_Is_Th...eparations.htm
Apparently, we're supposed to provide reparations because it says so in the Bible.
As for who Ted Hayes might be, believe this is the gentleman:

I am shocked though that Noam Chomsky, of all people, agrees with this:

Shocked, I tell you.

So...obvious sarcasm is not obvious?
Putting that aside, you can't give away 14 trillion dollars because that will reduce the value of the currency itself. The consequence is severe (and sudden) inflation where all prices rise, increasing the cost of living. In the end, everyone will be worse off financially, as that devalued money will pay for less than what it would've paid for in the past. If you have an extra $400,000, you're not going to be able to invest it or even spend it on luxuries, if you need it just to pay all your bills.

Face it. You can't win here.

Re: Jemele Hill at it again
Reparations won't happen for obvious reasons that have been stated 100x on this thread.
No need to bitch/whine/moan/cry about it anymore.
Case closed.
