Of course its hyperbolic. It's just frustrating. Every year it comes down to the Orioles having weak starting pitching and power hitters who disappear when it counts.

I think if not for the Manny injury and Davis suspension they would have won the ws that year

I think losing Weiters has really hurt the pitching he could really call a game

Exactly. This team is so eerily similar to the Ravens. You know the same weaknesses are going to be there year after year.

They paid far too much for it.

Adam was ready to go on the bench and Rzepczynski allows a .415 OBP against RH hitters this year. He's a LOOGY for a reason.

I'm not a fan of booing managerial decisions and I love Buck, but that one was up there with not bringing in Britton in at Toronto.

At least Buck is starting to sit Davis against lefties. I've never seen a hitter stare at strike three center cut fastballs at the rate Davis does.

    He's signed through 2022, when he'll be 36.
A guy who hits in the .220's at 30/31 isn't going to last until he's 36.
This will prove to be the Flacco contract for the Orioles.
At least Joe plays QB, Chris is essentially a DH. Who strikes out a metric ton.

Exactly. What makes this even worse is that Manny Machado is going to leave because there's no way the Orioles pay him what he's worth. That 160M they wasted on Davis sure would come in handy right about now.
