Joe will be ready to go...when?

I'll stick with my previous prediction on the other thread, he'll be back on the field August 14 doing individual drills, etc. Probably another week before he's fully back in practice. And hopefully a cameo in preseason game 3.

I don't expect him to play in any preseason game, especially if the OL doesn't come together into something that has some chance of protecting him, but I do think he practices soon, hopefully by the week of the 3rd PS game.

Either preseason week 3 or regular season week 1.
I'm going with regular season week 1.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

The longer he sits the more pessimistic I become. I think it is clear that the Ravens have downplayed the injury and that he is worse off than they are trying to lead us to believe. I think the early speculation and rumors about it being a disk injury gain more traction every day that he sits without a time table for a return.
