    Ravens Get An "F"

I ran across this article on Fox Sports from Adam Schein.

I think is sums up perfectly how the Ravens are doing.

    F
Ravens — The play calling has been horrible. The play of the starting quarterback was inept. The turnovers are ghastly. The repetitive penalties are inexplicable. Other than that, it's been a good season in Baltimore. To be 4-7 after starting 4-2, with the talent on this team, is just a total letdown and waste.

Hits the nail on the head. A letdown of a season.

Notice how much of that criticism is related to the coach...

The playcalling is related to the coach. The others are not.

We had +1 billion turnover rating last year. This year we have -1 billion. Same coach. My explanation? It's on the players.

Doesn't mean we don't deserve an F, I just don't think you can hang all those things on the coach.

I never said that, but you can make an argument for the penalties :/

I agree -- I'm pretty tired of the lazy "lets blame it on all Billick" point of view. Of course he has some responsibility for this train wreck of a season, but you have to take other factors into consideration too, like all the injuries this team has sufferred, which I don't think can be blamed all on him.
