Re: Campanaro to start camp on PUP
That's what they thought of Danny Amendola(Slow yet shiffty receiver that runs good routes) and he still got hurt. The Patriots can take any receiver not named ocho cinco and make him productive but they can't stop injuries or an injury riddled player. At best with absolutely no injuries and a ton of reps, Camp could be another Troy Brown or maybe even Deion Branch but that just ain't gonna happen. Right now because of his injuries and lack of reps he is what he is which is a receiver battling for the 5th spot and maybe the primary returner.

Re: Campanaro to start camp on PUP
For two years I have considered Campanaro as though he is not even there, but someone to be stashed away.
Unless all the other returner candidates are duds, I see him as part of the payment for Mangold."Flacco is driving the ball in that wind....."

12 rec 1 TD .... I don't understand the continued hype with this guy, he's had more "injuries" than catches...at this point Chris Moore's upside is more intriguing

Re: Campanaro to start camp on PUP
The Ravens are completely part of the hype. They signed him to a contract for almost $2.3 million on a 1 year deal after those stats you listed. They didn't give Camp that kind of money because they think he's a nice guy. They must believe in him and feel that other teams do as well who would pay him if they didn't

Re: Campanaro to start camp on PUP
I agree. When he has been healthy, he has shown the ability to make plays as a receiver, runner, and returner.
It's a shame. He could have been a real gem as a late round draft pick. The Ravens have stuck by him. It's just not working out.
