Campanaro to start camp on PUP

Michael Campanaro will start training camp on the active PUP list. He has been struggling with a toe injury for over 2 months and that could signal turf toe, an injury that ended Jonathan Ogden's career and shortened Deion Sanders'. (Photo c/o Baltimore Ravens)

Technically, he could come off tomorrow, of course, but he's 100% done IMO...unless the depth is so damn awful that he defaults to WR6.

In related news...great opportunity for Keenan.

I dont think Reynolds even plays in a regular season game. For the Ravens anyway. Was he ever baaadddd last year.

How much would we save cap wise if we cut him?

His work ethic is crazy good. Has had a full year to move from QB to WR. His athleticism is spectacular. Let's give him a chance to change positions AND make the leap from college to NFL before writing him off. The biggest jumps are often between year 1 and 2 for guys who are less than awesome in year 1.

Agree ... it was a nice thought but also more of an afterthought there wasn't really roster room for someone to learn a new position ... he had to make the team as a PR that first year

Also CamPUP sheds further light on Whalen's signing but I find myself hoping one of those UDFAs is the next BJ Sams Tim/Patrick/Mizzell/.....

Once I had a WR and it was a gas
Soon turned out had a toe of glass
Seemed like the real thing, only to find
    Mucho IR, except player's behind
