Re: Who would you jettisom to get KO back?

Mack frustrates me more than Wagner and KO combined, because Mack could have been had for less than the cap savings of cutting Zuttah and Forsett. Two guys who, one year later, are no longer on the team. Which was so easily predictable that I don't even want to take credit for it. Even though there were quite a few posters talking about how we just needed someone 'serviceable' at Center. One who didn't even make it through the entire season and another who was only there in body.

The Ravens make the playoffs with Mack last season. He provides FAR superior run blocking, communication up front and FAR superior pass blocking. He likely even makes Lewis better. He helps present Flacco with a deeper and far more comfortable pocket to step up into. Not that situation that he ended up in, where he technically had time in many cases, but no pocket to step up into. Since Wagner and Stanley were holding the edges, but Zuttah was getting pushed back into him.

Zuttah single-handedly fucked up so much shit last year.

Then, on top of THAT, who ends up with him?! Matt fucking Ryan. Of all QBs. And that little Choke artist makes the damned Super Bowl.

    Sucks, but understandable.

I wouldn't Jettison anyone to get KO back because this team has a history of finding serviceable guards, and Alex Lewis did alright considering he was playing between Hurst and Zuttah at times.

I *would* however, jettison someone to get Ricky Wagner back. As I look at the list of available free agents, tackle (and center) are easily the most barren positions in terms of talent. Who to get rid of though? I don't know. Most of the guys who are eating up the cap aren't even on the team.

Too bad this is 2000 and you win only on D.

    That Oline would've been incredible!

I would rather have Wagner and not resigned Brandon Williams.

You can't keep everyone under the cap and Yanda signed a more team friendly deal than KO.
