Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
Those two touchdowns were great calls, the first setting up the next. Not sure about the constant Jamal up the middle tho.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
Dude -- Jamal up the middle is keeping things honest. While we may be seeing the "new" billick offense, we'll still be going up the middle, rather than looking like the Eagles and Westbrook.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
1st down from the 30, reverse fake, Deuce looking shifty for 6-7.
2nd and 3, pressure on Brees, swing to Deuce, at worst a loss of 1, at best no gain.
3rd and 4, Saints LT flinches. Jammal Brown, who we all wanted 2 years ago. Still do ;)
3rd and 9, Gerome Sapp comes up the middle on the blitz, and Brees tries to pass and Sapp flies in the air and hits it backwards. Nice!!
Sams loses yards, 2 to be precise to around the 23.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
If they ran jamal up the middle like that all game I'd be so happy, just cause it's showing a commitment to the run and look at the TOP, those runs up the middle are gonna turn bigger and bigger as the game goes.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
1st from the 23, Jamal falling forward from the moment he got the ball for 3-4.
WTF, they only gave him 2?
2nd and 8, PA, McNair rolls left, hits Mason at the 40. Gain of 15, nice!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
Here is your around the league update:
Cincy 7, Falcons 6. Michael Vick coughs up a potential 1st down and luckily the Bengals couldn't recover.
Chicago 24, SF 0. Yeah, need I say anything about this? Can you say Alex Smith is a bust?
Green Bay 14, Arizona 0. Matt Lineart is 1-7 so far in this game. Let me repeat that. Matt Lineart is 1-7 today. And he just had a delay of game penalty. Looks like a OC change hasn't helped here. Maybe Denny shoudl call his own plays too??
Jax 7, Philly 0. Gerrard is playing today. McNabb is not off to a good start again today. But never count that man out!
2nd and 8, PA, McNair rolls left, hits Mason at the 40. Gain of 15, nice!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
Just curious with McNair getting nailed after throwing his passes multiple times.
What's the ruling on how much time can pass after a QB throws the ball out of the pocket and him getting hit?? They seem to be calling it fairly loose with McNair

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Saints
The biggest difference in the offense I noticed is the Offense is smiling, after getting hit by will msith Mcanir was smiling from ear to ear. the very next play jamal gets 6 yards gets up and is smiling.
