I love the draft, I have not missed a pick in over 20 years, I had a bad feeling about him then, not as a criminal just didn't think he was the right player for us.

Truly mind boggling he kept his nose clean for 4-5 years and now his life is just crumbling around him from his actions.

I can't agree with that at all.

Boller won 20 games for this club. He threw 45 TD passes. He passed for 400+ yards in a game.

He was not the franchise savior we all hoped for. He hit a combination of bad luck, a bad supporting cast, and some significant gaps in his skill set. But he did contribute to this franchise -- just not as much as we all hoped he would.

Conversely, I can't think of one single positive contribution Elam ever made. On the Bust-O-Meter, Elam pegs it out.
