Besides this recent bar fight, how does he get away with this on St. Patrick's Day?

    Letting Norman walk was stupid.

‪Here's what Ezekiel Elliott's father told @MerrillLiz last year for ESPN The Magazine:‬
‪"My biggest worry is ... I don't believe my son knows how to navigate in life being a superstar," Stacy says. "He's like a little boy who wants to play football and have fun and enjoy people. We've always said this about Ezekiel, ever since he came into the world. He's just happy to be alive. He's a happy guy. But this world is not."‬

Oh sure, that makes sense. Ezekiel Elliott is just too NICE, that's the problem. That explains why he keeps beating people's faces in.

You know, that really explains a lot. These football players who keep beating people, threatening people with guns, buying truckloads of drugs, raping women, getting multiple DUIs, etc... they just want to have fun and "enjoy people," that's what it is. They're not sociopaths, they're just misunderstood little boys who want to have some innocent fun.

Looks like Le'Veon Bell will play this season on the tag.

Talk about maximizing career pay. And without holding out. He could be the highest paid FA QB ever next year.

Seems to me that even if he isn't, technically he will be because how many of these guys have actually pocketed 44 million + whatever his guarantee is on his next deal??

Has the markings of a somewhat cautionary tale...if you think you have your guy at QB, just go ahead and pay him the first chance you get. The Ravens learned the hard way, but at least they got a ring out of Flacco to show for it. I'm sure the Redskins probably wanted Kirk to "prove his worth", which I suppose he did last season. They figured ok, two good seasons, let's go ahead and pay him...never counting on the prospect that the player might survey the situation and say no thanks. So now what? I'm not certain, but my guess is the Redskins could have locked him up for 40+ million guaranteed 2 years ago. They didn't, they've spent the 44 mil anyway and are faced with not having a QB next year...or doing the unthinkable and actually paying the 34 million. Kirk has played this brilliantly, albeit with the risk that if he gets hurt, game over. But if he doesn't...hats off to him.
