If he has a productive year, we have found our TE of the future. He's not going to play so well (like a Jimmy Graham) where he prices himself out of the market. His top end is: 1) stay healthy, 2) block, 3) be a red zone threat, and 4) be a safety valve. He's never going to be Gronk.

If he can be those things, he will earn himself a nice contract, most likely from the Ravens, because solid tight ends are just not that expensive.

Gillmore is the one in between a rock and a hard place.

He's an often injured TE who is playing on the last year of his rookie deal. The Ravens won't think twice about letting him go if he spends yet another season mostly in the tub. There's even an outside chance they simply cut weight this off season.

Good point. Actually the pressure is more on Gillmore than the Ravens... Bc

Why? So he can finish his adjustment to the new position and new bulk, and become a freak for some other team.

At a minimum, he's a solid special teamer. He's not going anywhere.

I like the attitude. I also have a high opinion of Gillmore and have done since he entered the league. If he can stay healthy, he's an every down TE who can do it all. I wouldn't be surprised of he had a break out season next year with 700 odd yards and prices himself out of Baltimore.

He's got the size and athletic ability at 6'6 and 260 lbs, he just needs to stay healthy.
I'd put money on him pulling a Kruger

They're really versatile at sitting on bench, ice tub, or in street clothes on the sidelines. Our MASH unit at TE was very disappointing last season. I saw an interview with Crockett where he was talking about being the #1 starter this season, and I liked the gist of what he was saying and think hes the most talented TE on our roster but him and all our TEs are always banged up or suspended.
You guys wanna hear a funny joke?

If the TE talent is anywhere near where Greg Roman says it is, then Darren Waller shouldn't even make the 2017 final 53.
