Missed playoffs 3 out of 4 years

John, does he stay or go?

Fwiw, if you are asking your head coach to fire his offensive and defensive coordinators in one season, what is the point of keeping your head coach?

I think everybody is already anticipating that Marty is gone, and if that's the case and John is still here, Pees is probably back too.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Playoffs or bust next year. The team is a dropped Waller catch or a non-injury to Jimmy Smith away from winning the AFC North and thats with a moron at OC. They're not very far away from being back in the thick of things again.

Yes, Harbs is staying. Make or break year next year.

I will say that if we have as good of a draft this offseason as we did last offseason, we'll make the playoffs. Overall the team was better this year. That's progress that's hard to see right now just after this game but the team is moving forward.

John stays. But another missed post season next year and he'll be gone.

Last year's team had injuries as an excuse, we got straight out coached so many games this year...

So does Bisciotti extend him? Johns deal ends at the end of 2017 and coaches never play out their contracts.

This is our most talented offense in years and they killed us. I don't like pees at all, but I think he'll stay. I'd be shocked if harbaugh is gone. Can we trade him to rams?

    One of several things
    1 execution
    2 one player away
    3 coaches gone

You can't keep the coordinators. They are both straight garbage. I don't need to see Harbaugh fired, but if he objects to it, then he's gotta go too.

I think you answered that question.

The team has not been well prepared most of the year being a leader in penalties, dumb in game decisions, and no sense of urgency. I would like to see them replace Harbaugh but do not think that this will happen. There comes a time when a head coach outlives his relevancy and effectiveness and believe that Harbs is there after missing the playoffs for another year.

So those of you saying John stays, are you ok with Pees coming back, because that's surely what will happen.
