      5 Touchdowns, 6 Interceptions

Unreal that in a league that passing stats are ridiculous every year and even bad QB's are putting up solid/good passing numbers, we continue to fucking flounder when it comes to throwing the ball...even when we are throwing 40+ times every game.

I don't get it. Even teams with broken down offensive lines and injury issues are still putting up good stats.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Cause Joe and our receivers suck too.

We have never been this futile with respect to scoring TDs, passing or running, with Harb/flacco.

      I just don't get it.

How can it be that hard?

I mean we didn't even have a single snap inside the 25...that's ridiculously pathetic in today's NFL.

I said this yesterday, meanwhile Andrew Luck is throwing 3 TDs a game with defensive tackles draped over him

Been on the road, so haven't been able to keep up. We must hope that Bisciotti will step in and at least examine the problem, if not take more drastic action.

I thought nothing could be as bad as the touchdown drought in 2000. This is just sickening.

No, "that's all there is to it" is the problem. Harbs and Oz got us here; the owner must take action.

It's mind boggling. Look at the Chargers and how many injuries they have and yet Rivers looks incredible. If Gates hadn't dropped the go ahead TD they would've won in Atlanta. (yes other teams have drops)

HA - thanks guys, I saw the dropped pass on Redzone but didn't know they went to OT. And look at all of their injuries to top players all over the roster. They just keep balling and that was a good team that they beat

you preaching to the choir sir, pardon my expression but I am in fuck it mode at this point, we all have beat to death the issues on this team, and the same shit product is on full display for a long time now, not counting 2014 which I firmly believe if Gary was not our OC that year we would be looking at 3 losing seasons in a row, dean pees is still here, harbs is safe, juan castillo is still here, ozzie and decosta keep drafting mostly shit players and they are still here and paying old players, Joe look like he is finally cracking due to age and all the wear and tear of getting his ass beat behind that piece of shit Oline and the mental aspect of having 5 OCs in 5 years along with his ACL and now sore shoulder he is finally breaking down....so it is what it is. They won't change a thing, nothing will be done in the bye week and this team will keep trotting out the same weak ass coaches and weak ass players every single Sunday and one Thursday. So instead of getting upset and beat this thing to death again and again and again to see them not do nothing? Nah no thank you I have checked out.

They have an elite quarterback who is also fiery competitor. They have a 40 year old gates, that rookie TE and Benjamin...and Phillip Rivers just keeps hitting them.

And that was against the defensive dynasty called the New York Jets. The 1-5 New York Jets.

      6 yards rushing.

To me, that is more bizaare than the TDs to date.

      Re: 5 Touchdowns, 6 Interceptions

Something is fundamentally wrong with this offense. Joe hasn't played well for sure, but it goes way beyond that. I keep going back to the fact that in every other game I watch, teams have receivers running wide open in the secondary (even in the Cards-Hawks defensive struggle last night), but I NEVER see that with the Ravens receivers. The only time I saw anything close was when Wallace beat Jenkins for that 70 yard pass last week - and it was like Wallace was running free, he just had a couple of steps.

Like I said before, I don't know if it's a player problem, scheme problem, or play calling problem, but it needs to get fixed. While we may not be the most talented team in the league, we certainly have more than enough talent to get the job done and I think we can hang with any team.

There's still a lot of football to be played and we'll probably get SSSr, Stanley, Yanda, and hopefully Mosley back after the bye. Judon looks to be progressing (let's keep him on the field), and Marty has two weeks to figure this thing out. Hopefully we'll see a turnaround.
