I just wish Monroe had done the Barry Sanders thing and just walked away. No one would have blamed him. He certainly would have been more respected for it than he's been for the way it went down.

Maybe 5-2? I do agree that if had competent LT play for the past 4 games we would have gotten at least 2 more wins.

And I think Monroe could have done that. Plenty of players have been injured off and on for two years and come back and be healthy after that.

So far he's more reliable than Stanley. Guess we should replace him too.

Stanley costs about half as much as Monroe. When he misses 15 games and fails to finish a bunch more without something major like an ACL then we can have that discussion.

I have no issue with Monroe's advocacy and I don't think it's why he was cut. he was cut because he couldn't stay healthy and there were questions of his desire to play.

He should have asked for some level of editorial say on the final article, because if he's trying to advocate for weed only as a pain relief option the article fails. It's hard to make that point when the author is coming across as a college kid "dude I'm soooooo high". And I may be reading too much into it, but he's advocating weed and saying that opiods warn you not to drive or operate heavy machinery. I hope he doesn't think it's ok to smoke and take different cannabis substances all day and still drive.

That is the reason Jacksonville traded him to us in the first place
We thought we were getting a deal, Jacksonville got a 3rd and 4th (but we did unload McKinnie for a 7th)
at one point of my life I was exactly Pi years old

If Stanley ends up missing 50% of his games (or more) over the first 2 seasons, the Ravens will indeed be looking for a new LT.
