Re: Von Miller
Can't take away what Phillips and his players did, that's for sure. Just remember that it happened all game long. So the question should be, why didn't the panthers make the proper adjustments to counter it?
Cam could run and throw. Yet he ran very little .His throws were something he has struggled with his whole career. To have that high powered offense suddenly come up flat is surprising.
Does all the credit go to the broncos or did Shula have the worst day of his career in the big game ? Broncos were in that same position several years ago, LOL. They only scored 3 points that day.

Re: Von Miller
Not really much you can do when you have under 3 seconds every play.
Cam was getting great protection and run blocking that helped him be so great. Hard to do against that pressure.
May go down as one of the best defensively played games in NFL history.
I rewatched last night and every play was almost flawless and well called. Phillips is a beast.
A lot of credit goes to that interior line. Cam just literally had no where to go"Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”

Re: Von Miller
Eh, KC negated the great JJ Watts in their post season game. Sometimes they didn't even try to block him, LOL. Watt ran to the backfield and the ball carrier was already past him.
The Denver defense was great, but Shula came up far short with his game plan and making adjustments in the second half.
You could say he pulled a "Pees" in that game, LMAO.

Re: Von Miller
I think the problem is their gameplan all year has been quite simple. Without many weapons the gameplan centered around Cam.
The opposing strategy was beat the hell out of Cam and they wont be able to do anything.
The think with Shula that I found annoying was their best plays came when Cam was in the pistol with Stewart and Tolbert. Tolbert fumbled and the never went back to it. Would have given them a fighting chance.
He definitely pulled a Pees, but I just don't think he had too many options. That being said, you need to try and do at least something when it's the SB."Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”

Re: Von Miller
Know the thread is about Miller, but let's not forget Ware. Having 2 great players coming at you from different sides doesn't allow Cam's head to swivel that fast, LOL.
Think about Doom and Suggs the one year they played most of the season together.
Miller deserved the MVP with Ware close behind him.
