Re: Trump vs Sanders. The End of the Republic??

[NQUOTE=darb72;1067207]I've had filth on the ignore list for a while, and I think you're starting to understands ear why. The truth is anybody who puts forth effort can get themselves out of poverty. But, shock of shocks, people don't want to hear that. They just want to be handed everything.[/QUOTE]

As usual you misconstrued and misrepresented what I said. There's a huge difference with between an individual and a collective.

Tonight MSNBC is hosting a Trump Townhall meeting. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski will moderate. Could be interesting considering Cruz and Rubio will be on CNN is on at the same time. Donald keeps poking them in the eye with a stick.
Let Joe Cool lead the way 😎

Thus why other socialist countries have major economic problems (Greece...). No one wants to work and pay those ridiculous taxes and it's easier to just be a bum and take gov handouts.

As usual Darb goes off topic. His revisionist history of what really happened and how the middle class was formed is indicative of the coming great divide. There is no turning back.

Additionally, they could see inter-state commerce take a hit because it would essentially be no different than goods crossing the borders from/to Mexico and Canada. Import and export taxation would have to be reflective of that.

Is TX a net importer or exporter with other states? I would bet it is a net exporter, which would mean we need them more than they need us trade wise. Petroleum is one example.

Beyond that, yes they would lose the federal money coming in but their citizens would not have to pay federal income taxes as well as all other federal taxes, many of which aren't apparent.

There would be a net loss because any state would experience a net loss, and that is because of all of the borrowing going on in DC. That said, TX wouldn't be responsible for all of the debt piling up from here on out.
