When when we field a competitive team?

I guess I wonder if last year was all because of Kubiak, his coaches, and his scheme and the real team is the 2013 and 2015 (1st Q). Our defensive coaching is questionable (and that is being nice), our line coach is also questionable....... Flacco needs a run game and then he is really good.

depends on your definition of "competitive". weve been in just about every game this year. every game within a few with either leading or a chance to win late.

to me thats competitive, and a sign of what should be at the very least, a middle of the road team.

if by competitive you mean contender. that will come as soon as we get healthy, imo. I dont think were as far away as our record would indicate.

I don't think that health is the only issue. We won't be super bowl competitive until we fix the back end of the defense and get a difference maker at wide receiver. If Jimmy Smith's play this year is an indication of what's to come, then we're in worse shape than originally thought.
