Great idea. Let him burst out into some heroic baritone solo in an obscure language; that'll fire them up. Or maybe one of the arias (in the original Russian, of course) from Act 4 of Glinka's A Life for the Tsar. Number 18 ("Brother in the darkness we are not able to find our enemy") or 21 ("They sense the truth!") look like they might strike the right note (so to speak) for this season...:bag:
