    Re: *TNF* Colts @ Texans

O'Brien must be kicking himself for letting Ryan Fitzpatrick go. The Texans never even made him an offer. I heard an interview with Fitz during Jets camp and he said that O'Brien never thought he could do much. Fitz has been head and shoulders better than Mallet and Hoyer. O'Brien seems to think that being a Patriots backup QB means something and it really doesn't

You could say the same exact thing about the Pats. The essentially have home field advantage every year b/c of their division. They somehow end up with one of the easiest schedules in the league this year and they just won the superbowl.

Are they a great team, yes. But I'd bet my salary if they played if the AFCN, Brady has no more than 2 SuperBowls.

I love to watch the TNF games but that one was a stinker. zzzzzzz

Greg Manusky does play an aggressive D, even without many studs. He is not afraid to send the house

I kind of thought the game was rather entertaining as just about all of the Thursday night game have been so far.
Entertaining from the standpoint of who would out stupid who as both of those teams suck and were committing stupid penalties and getting burnt.
Even with two defensive coordinators that have had success over the years both looked like crap...particularly in the secondary and neither team seemed to have much pass rush.
Apparently we're not alone in the struggling defense department.

Hasselbeck is probably better than like 10-12 teams starters in the league, including the Texans.

Said the same thing last night.

Texans defense just imploded with penalties...
