If Von Miller hit FA, the Ravens would be wise to jump in that bidding war more than any other. Pass rush is going to be their biggest need going into next year. I'm pretty sure it would never happen in a million years for a number of reasons but damn, it would be nice. I would be totally fine with paying that guy a monster contract to be our primary pass rusher for the next 5-6 years.

Is Demarcus Ware a UFA? Dude is balling like it's 2008.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Zippy chance they look at Josh Gordon, I would think. What a waste of talent.

Ware is a UFA in 2017.

He was the one pushing for Wade Phillips. Ware loves the guy. Even if he was free he'd probably stay with Wade unless you really blew him away with money

*Note2: This is not a complete list of free agents in 2016...just a quick list of guys I think the Ravens could be paying attention to.

    OLB/DE/Rush end - 1 ( at least)
    MLB (replace D.Smith)
    FS
    SS
    CB x 2

    Depth
    CB
    WR

    This seems accurate.

There are some wide-outs that look intriguing. Anquan Boldin anyone? He's 35 but his game isn't built on speed.

I don't really think LG, MLB, FS, or SS are major needs. Urschel will be fine at LG, Brown or Orr should be capable of playing ILB alongside Mosley, they have several in house candidates at FS if they want to move on from Lewis, and Will Hill is one of the best safeties in the league. I agree with the others though, DE/OLB being the biggest need on the team IMO, even bigger than WR.

When you have a high paid QB you have to keep building through the draft and minimal FA. We always make a move or two but I don't expect a splash

-I think that T is far more important than G, but even if Urschel steps in as a starter, we then have no suitable depth.
-This would be a good year to get a coverage MLB in the middle rounds to take a year to develop. McClellan is better outside, and Orr is straight downhill
    - it would be nice to get a developmental safety, I see Lewis as a stop gap, and Brooks hasn't gotten much opportunity since he's returned from injury
    - WR, and OLB are our biggest needs going forward, followed closely by CB

    Re: 2016 Free Agents

Sean Smith, Josh Norman, Janoris Jenkins are all solid CB's, but get paid.
Be awesome to get Eric Berry and get a ball hawk back playing center field.

The best move would be to bring Chuck back ... #Pags, #Defense #Peesgottago
