You know how drunk’s say that New Years Eve is amature hour? Thats how I feel about late spring in the NFL media trying to fill there dead air talking about a issue that I cover year round. That issue, of course, is whether or not Joe Flacco is a Elite Quarterback. The last day and a half has already seen a flurry of activity with ESPNs Mark Brunell running of at the mouth about Flacco and putting him in the 2nd tier of QBs, then ESPN pumping out 2 articles focusing on Flaccos Eliteness, or lack thereof. This can only mean takes from Ron Jaworski, Mike Mayock and Merrel Hoge cant be far behind and then this thing will kick into overdrive.

The "Is Joe Flacco elite" talk may have calmed down on here but thanks to PFTCommenter (@PFTCommenter) it's taken on a whole life of it's own on Twitter.

It isn't because he knows how to spell and use proper grammar. People who supposedly write for pay should be able to use the English language competently.

Lol I guess you either a. Don't have a twitter account or b. have one and don't follow sports media guys. "Is Joe Flacco Elite" has been a running joke (or meme) for a while now.
