Not if he can't get off press coverage clean right at the snap. You need quickness to do so, or else the timing between the QB and WR will be disrupted.
The average size of a CB in the NFL is 5'11 and 193 lbs. That CB is going to have a lot of trouble pressing a 6'6 235 lb WR.
The Bears were 3rd in the league in red zone conversion percentage (TDs) last year. I don't think that was due to Cutler. Trestman has it under control.
I never was that high on Trestman, but I now think he's the right man for the job in the right place. His laid-back demeanor seems to coincide with Joe's, and I can see him winning here for a long time... Bc
