If I had to zero in on one player from that list that I believe will end up being a Raven, I will pick Clive Walford, TE, Miami.

Best two-way TE in the draft (in my opinion...Heuerman from Ohio State is 2nd), and a terrific security blanket over the middle of the field.

Walford and Gilmore would form an imposing duo in the jumbo formation, and they are both underrated pass catchers, so we could execute both run and pass out of that formation, which is exactly what we want to be able to do.

Hate to say it but which ever TE is big, crazy and likes to hit people like gronk, that's who I want. Oh yea, catches everything thrown at him.

Biggest thing I take from that is that it seems like we are not going to be taking a WR in the first round. Looks like they are setting up take a pass rusher or cornerback. Damarious Randall is interesting because he is extremely versatile. I feel like he could excel as a FS, nickel, or outside corner.

For what it's worth, Mayock recently elevated Randall to his #1 safety ahead of Landon Collins. I know next to nothing about Randall, but in a weak safety class such as this, he might be worth a guy keeping an eye on in the second round.

The one guy from that list I think we'll target is Robert Myers. We like the small school guys, and Castillo personally worked out Myers after his pro day. I'll start keeping an eye on him around the fourth round.

I don't have them on the list because there hasn't been a report that we've had contact with them. These are all the players we've had some contact with whether it is Senior Bowl, Combine, Pro Day, Private Workout, East/West Shrine game. I know what the board wants, but we haven't had contact with those guys (at least there is no report we have) so I didn't include them. That's not to say we wouldn't draft one of those guys. I'm just asking of the guys that we have had contact with which one do people think we will have a shot at drafting and will actually do so?

I completely understand the initial post. I just find it odd that the Ravens haven't had any reported talks with those two I mentioned previously. Oz always has some tricks up his sleeve. Great topic!

looks to me were doing our homework on passrushers, CBs and WRs and based off the names on that list id assume thats our first 3 picksc maybe 4, in that same order.

Kiper has us drafting Maxx Williams after Marcus Peters. I know
Ravens love Maxx but haven't heard much about Walford (which means
he's the one-lol) who tore
them up in practice during SR Bowl week. Maxx is a better pass
catcher and target in the red zone. Walford is a better blocker but
Maxx can block too.

They'd have a better shot at Walford who has visited a lot of
teams too. They would have to trade up for either one.

They have a shot at any one of those RBs after
Mel Gordon and they might have a shot at him too. I
personally think they'd jump on Gordon if he is there
and a lot of mocks have us getting him.

Ive seen Perrimen linked to us and a lot of guys here
like Lockett. They liked Diggs' speed at his MD workout.
He could be the Campanero of this year's draft taken in
later rounds.

Forget Dupree and Gregory even though both are falling.
HARBs loves Shane Ray but forget him too. If any of them
should be there Ozzie will jump on them in first round but
they won't be there.

Collins and Collins and Kevin Johnson will be gone. They
would be
great but won't be there. Kiper has us drafting Marcu
Peters but he has baggage like getting kicked off his
college team - completely out of the program but Raven
have brought him in. Not sure if they would pull the trigger
after Ray Rice scandal and Bisciotti seriously considered
selling the team after taking all that shit.

Kiper also has us getting Maxx on the 2d day. Ravens
would have to trade up but have the ammo in 2d round.
Clive Walford is another good possibility but would have to
trade up for him. The rest will be there and it could be
any one of them after the 2d day.
