Money, I understand the concept, but HR (post #319) equated Joe and Torrey's circumstances as being the same.
I'm saying that although on the face of it it seems similar, one has to separate your team leader (QB Flacco) from #1.5 WR (Torrey Smith, who many on this very board criticized for various reasons). My thrust is that it's 1,000X harder to replace Joe than Torrey... Bc

Of course Joe is more important. The point I was making is players, no matter the position, will sometimes turn down first offers. It's not an indicator of them leaving. It's a negotiation tactic and nothing more.
