I mean I hate the idea of picking a RB in the first, but unless your entire deal is "I will NOT take a RB in round 1 no matter what", I don't see how Melvin isn't worth the 26th pick.

I just don't see Gordon as a good fit here.

He's not a 3-down back. He's indecisive as a 1-cut runner. His hands are average (at best) and he struggles in pass pro. He also struggles with ball security.

Now...Gurley is an entirely different matter...
