    Eeh camp body at the least and exp as a back up not thrilled or upset its one of those "make sense signings"

    Guy was also resigned today, and Bilikudi (sp?) this week,as well.

    That's a lot of continuity despite losing McPhee and Ngata. If Lewis Kapron-Moore and Urban can get/stay healthy & contribute, that's pretty good depth at this point in the year.

    Canty's veteran presence means even more with Haloti out of the picture.

    Sidenote: when was the last time Ozzie actually brought back a player the same offseason as releasing him? I can recall countless times when everyone has said "hey maybe we'll resign him later in the offseason!" after a release (Mason, Heap, Chris Carr, etc), but when was the last time it happened? (I'm not counting players who made a miniscule impact)
    Peter Boulware in 2005. He cut him and then re-signed him but Pete's knee wouldn't hold up.

    A solid vet who seems to be a solid citizen. And with what's been happening (again) this off season with guys getting into trouble, that now carries more weight with this team than in years past.
    He's only 32, so he should have at least one more season left in his tank.
