Agreed. I could have seen us in the running if his contract was half of that, but definitely not 7 per. They overpaid IMO.

I was real into potentially getting him, but yeah, no way I would have paid him that much. Even as a guy who thinks he still has something left in the tank. No biggie.

    Nevermind...

NFL.com is reporting that he's signed with Indy, as Maclin has with K.C.

7 mil/year is too rich for our current cap situation, but we offered Torrey that much last year, and I'd take a slightly aged AJ than Torrey any day of the week.

We need a wr. Along with a cb and rb, but those are seperate threads. Im not too sure what to do at WR. CB shouldnt be addressed in the draft. Theres just no starters that will be available. All projects. RB in the first sure and you have a bluechip player. Maybe wr in the 2nd but than WR turns into CB last year, and need we didnt address and will cause us not to have a shot.

In before the close, no AJ for the Ravens. I'm happy, give the colts as many weapons as possible to beat the pats. Pity the Colts though if they don't, sometimes you can't buy a SB, no matter how much you spend. Just like the pats, the division the colts are in , is there for the colts to win again, expect it. If they do well enough with wins, maybe home field advantage for them as #1 seed.

I said he wouldn't come cheap and that he would be to expensive for the Ravens but damn I didn't expect to be THAT right. He signed for almost the same yearly average that the Ravens reportedly offered Torrey.
