Re: East West Shrine game is this week: can we strike gold again?

Seems like McBride might be a real nice mid-round gem.

I just worry. Aaron Mellette was also a small school guy who looked good during the pre-draft process.

TE Wes Saxton is a match-up nightmare there wasn't a LB who could cover him well in this group in 1-on-1's.
    South Alabama.
    Almost no college production.
    20 / 155 / 0 in 2014 with 3 games out for injury.

Senior year his production was down, Junior year:
    50/635/0

    This is concerning however:

    Tony Pauline @TonyPauline
Athletically Wes Saxton/TE/S Alabama is very impressive but he's dropping to many catchable throws.

#ShrineGame Weigh In Notes: #NIU WR Da'Ron Brown has 10 1/2 inch hands, biggest of any WR. Had a solid week too:
    5'11-6'0
    190-195

    2014: 68 / 1065 / 6
    Career: 154 / 2290 / 19

#ShrineGame Weigh In Notes: WRs Ezell Ruffin, Kasen Williams both under the 9 inch ideal threshold for WR hand size
Very surprised that Williams' hands are smallish.

Anybody with questionable hands or close to questionable hands should not be considered. Nor should any defender with questionable tackling ability. I watched as the Ravens took the more explosive Matt Elam over the more reliable Jonathan Cyprien, as well as the more explosive Arthur Brown over the more reliable Sio Moore.

I think we'd like to have both of those guys right now.
