  1. Re: It's Official, pulling on a receivers jersey is not holding

Some of you are out of your minds. The first DPI we got against Revis was a horrible call, and if anything it should have been OPI on SMith Sr who grabbed Revis. That call lead DIRECTLY to a TD. We've been getting 35 yard DPI spot fouls all year long. Hell, for the last 4-5 years. Look at the league wide stats. Yet we still complain like the refs are out to get us. Just sad and pathetic.

And then we bitch about Belicheat "gaming" the system? Hell, the Ravens have been gaming the DPI system for years. You can't tell me we don't coach out WR's to grasp, flail and draw 30 yard penalties. If you don't think thats a big part of the game plan, your head is buried in the sand.

    End rant

How was the DPI on Revis a bad call? It was an arm bar for 10+ yards.

No it wasn't. An arm bar that impedes the WR is a penalty. It's just that old man refs can't run fast enough to really see it happening so it doesn't get called enough.

Arm bar??? Come on man. It was good defense. with SS pushing off right at the end. If you think hand fighting should result in a 25-30 yard penalty then you are what is wrong with this league.
